work work work
just noticed that it's been 6 months since my last blog. Even for me, that just seems like a long time. I guess that means that either my life has been very boring of late, or just very busy. Actually, i think it's been a bit of both. Haven't had the time to travel of late, and work has been piling up and continues to do so.
but things haven't been all that bad. My pottery work has been improving a little. Started to do some sculpture work too, and if it gets good enough, I might even put that online as well.
Old friends have been coming and going. As always, sad to see people leave, but things change. makes for a lively social calendar of sorts, even if there are many good-byes.
A new interest is Vespa riding! Yes, I picked up an old, 1980 90cc. Italian Vespa. It's been awesome riding it, and I only wish that it wasn't typhoon season here, because I'd be on it more, joyriding everwhere.
(hopefully put up a pic of that sometime in the near future..)
Riding a Vespa is quite interesting. Perhaps I"m getting caught up in the novelty of it, but it feels to me that it doesn't really matter what the destination is, as long as you are just enjoying the ride. I guess that sounds pretty F**&! cliche, and corny. And we've all heard it before, but I gotta say it.
Makes me wonder what I"d feel like if I had a BMW... hmmm... ok, let's not go there.
Be off to Canada soon. Looking forward to a bit of a break, although there are plenty of things to do when one is at home as well. Gonna see some shows at the Fringe. It will have 10 years since I've been back during the Fringe festival!
Right, well, try to update again before I take off.
