miscellaneous rambling

ok, so I've been reading comic books for the better part of my life. I don't see a reason to stop anytime. At times I do think that it's juvenile and geeky, but the other 90% of the time, I think it just rocks. And for years now, they have been in the mainstream with hollywood movies etc.

The recent podcast I've created with my friend Herman, and the comics I"m now reading again ( courtesy of his large collection here in Taiwan) is kind of my way of connecting to the past, and that doesn't just mean the comics themselves, but of a time when life was simpler, and I could just lie on my bed and read comics for the better part of a Sunday. Comic books are escapism for me. Although they can be thought provoking, educational, inspirational, and of course, entertaining; make no mistake. Reading comics is just fun. 'nuff said.

Anyways, the podcast is for comic book fans, but it's also for those who may be interested in reading something different, and want some input, and advice on what's good out there. Or at least, from our perspective...
